The FARMSS Fire Warden / Marshal Training Course - has been specifically designed to enable it to reflect the hazards identified in the organisations own fire risk assessment.


The course provides training on the identification of fire hazards; how to prevent fires occurring and when necessary how to evacuate premises. In addition delegates learn how and when to tackle a small fire using a range of portable fire extinguishers.  

Who Should Attend

The course has been tailored for personnel nominated as Fire Marshals / Fire Wardens, with a responsibility for fire safety management and also those people whom provide a first response to fire alarms and/or have a role in premise evacuation and fire drill training.

Course Aims

The aim of the course is to provide personnel with the knowledge and skills to support an organisations fire risk assessment process; ensure that fire safety and prevention become ‘core’ daily business activities.

The course has been designed for those people new into the role and also those requiring additional training to update their knowledge and skills.
